About the Awards Banquet
The CASHO Annual Awards Banquet is a formal evening event that celebrates the accomplishments of outstanding individuals and municipalities in Connecticut public works. The banquet provides an opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication of public works professionals across the state.
The evening features a cocktail reception, dinner, keynote address, and the presentation of awards. Family members and guests are welcome to attend.
Award Categories
Public Works Director of the Year
Recognizes outstanding leadership and service by a municipal public works director.
Supervisor of the Year
Honors a supervisor who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to their department and community.
Operator of the Year
Recognizes an equipment operator for outstanding skill, safety, and professionalism.
Distinguished Service Award
Presented to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to CASHO and the public works profession.
Municipal Achievement Award
Recognizes a municipality that has completed an innovative or exemplary public works project.
Nominations
Nominations for awards are accepted from all CASHO members. Nomination forms are distributed each fall. Contact the CASHO office for more information on how to nominate a deserving colleague.
